DELEGATION DEDICATES MINISTRIES
BOB PACE HONORED DURING SERVICES
Friends
from Memphis, TN; Tampa, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Chattanooga, TN;
Cleveland, TN and Phnom Penh, Cambodia gathered in Siem Reap, Cambodia
in April of this year (2006) to dedicate PCL ministries located in
Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Cambodia. PCL ministries dedicated included
the orphanage, schools, feeding centers, and adult vocational training
centers. The newly constructed DownTown Center was also dedicated. The
four story facility will house innovative ministries such as a Coffee
Shop, Internet Cafe, Computer Training School, Leadership Development
Institute, Missionary housing and visiting student / partners
apartments.
Bob Pace was
honored to have his wife, Clara, and his son, the Reverend Chip Pace,
travel with him on this trip and assist in the dedication ceremonies. A
highlight of the dedication was a symbolical ribbon cutting ceremony. A
newly constructed road paid for by PCL was also dedicated and
christened as "Bob Pace Road" in honor of PCL's founder and retiring
president.

Dr. Fred Garmon Receives Prayer for Leadership Transition
Delegates
of the April 2006 Dedication team followed the lead of PCL retiring
President and Founder, Bob Pace, and prayed for Dr. Fred Garmon who has
been working full-time with PCL since July of 2005. Bob Pace, who
will pass the leadership baton as of August 31 of this year, has spent
the past year mentoring Dr. Garmon so that the leadership transition
will be smooth and productive.
Pictured in the photo above are PCL Board Members, Dr. Ken Pilgrim,
Hugh Carver (International Director, Men & Women of Action), and
Bob Pace. The Reverend Chip Pace is seen holding a camera in the
foreground.
THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE WAS WRITTEN BY DR. DALE DENHAM
It
was a sizzling hot, sweltery day in Siem Reap Cambodia . Eighteen
people, who had traveled from the USA , were gathered with orphans,
widows and Cambodian leadership to dedicate the beautiful facilities
that PCL has developed under the innovative leadership of its founder
Bob Pace.
Dr. Fred Garmon was giving honor to Bob when,
unexpectedly, Bob took the microphone, and those present got to see
something few people get to see and even fewer do: they watched
Bob Pace model leadership transition in a biblical manner right before
their eyes. He informed the group that he was passing the leadership
baton to Dr. Garmon. He blessed him with words of gracious affirmation
and then asked PCL board members Hugh Carver and Ken Pilgrim to join
him in an anointing prayer over Fred.
A few
minutes later, Chip Pace, Bob’s son, called for all the orphans to
lay their hands on Dr. Garmon and to join in the anointing prayer.
Clara Pace, Bob’s wife, later told Fred, “Fred, you cannot fail with all those prayers."
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT (ISOLD)
New ISOLD Starts in Phnom Penh with 45 Students
Dr.
Dale Denham (PCL ISOLD Division Field Director) and Dr. Fred Garmon
traveled to Phnom Penh, the Capital City of Cambodia a few days ahead
of the larger USA delegation in order to teach and train a new ministry
group of 45 Cambodian students. The students continue to meet on a
weekly basis.
Since April of
2006 two more ISOLD's have been birthed in the region surrounding the
Capital City . Seasoned pastors have been found who desire more
ministry training and doctrinal education and these men have recruited
disciples. Continue to pray that the Lord would add daily to these
schools.
PCL's first ISOLD graduation is
planned for October of this year (2006) in both Siem Reap , Cambodia
and in the Tsunami Zone of Sri Lanka .
Another ISOLD graduation is scheduled for January 2007 in Myanmar (old
Burma ), and Pastor Zau Ba, the Administrator of the ISOLD, recently
announced plans to start two more ISOLD's in the near future.
Make plans now to be with us during this historic event! Travel dates =
October 2-13, 2006. The all inclusive 12 day tour includes Bangkok,
Thailand, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Cambodia and cost $2,800.00 from
